HERB BOOK RESTORATION
This is an exquisite example of fine mastery and restoration performed on a newly-restored 250-year-old book of herbal remedial text and imagery. The final work has been restored in pig leather with traditional blind tooling work.
OLD 1754 BOOK RESTORATION
A full leather binding restored to its former glory by applying traditional techniques and tooling.
FIRE-DAMAGED BIBLE RESTORATION
This 180-year-old bible has been restored after a fire, and rebound in pig leather using the original silver corner and centre pieces.
VICTORIAN BIBLE RESTORATION
Old Victorian bible restored with original corner pieces and clasps. Cover leather has been treated to avoid further deterioration.
The overall restoration is nearly invisible.
RESTORATION AND CONSERVATION WORK IN PROGRESS
A variety of maps, books, pages and documents being restored and conserved, using PH neutral and acid free glue and paste, as well as archival high-quality paper and repair tissue. This will stabilise the fragile pages in documents to prevent further deterioration.
